USTA, Junior Team Tennis (JTT). This program is for players from ages 10-18, that have competitive experience, and want to play for the Columbine team. The teams are made up of 4-6 players each, and are grouped by age and skill/experience level. Practices are on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, from 1:30-4, with the 10’s and 12’s coming from 1:30-2:30, and the 14’s-18’s coming out from 2:30-4pm. High Performance Junior Training (CCC-HP). This program is exactly what you’d suspect…VERY advanced, competitive players, that are tournament competitive on a (pretty much) year-round basis. Players are pushed to their limits physically, mentally, and emotionally with this training. All players are expected to be dedicated to consistent attendance (when not traveling) and are expected to display exceptionally high levels of sportsmanship at all times. This program is headed up by Tennis Professional, Stephen Nolen. Stephen is a former nationally ranked junior from Colorado, who went on to play the #1 singles position at the University of Virginia, one of the most prominant college programs in the country.
We also offer private, and customized group lessons, upon request. ALL members of CCC’s tennis staff are experienced, accomplished players that are here to help you enjoy the sport of tennis, and reach your competitive goals.
Our Aquatics Director, Tim Hardy runs one of the most successful summer swim and dive programs in the state of Colorado. Tim’s staff is highly qualified and experienced. This is an EXCELLENT swim program for kids of all ages. Lots of participation, enthusiasm, and support from our members. Swim practices are held early mornings, during most week days. Tim will have the 2013 schedule up by early April, if not sooner.
