for more explicit info on the CCC tennis program, please email our Director of Tennis, Andy Zodin at AZodin@columbinecountryclub.org
We offer lessons and lots of drills during the week, and on weekends for both adults and juniors of all ages and skill levels. Columbine is very active in USTA league play for adults (evening, daytime, and Sunday mixed), as well as Junior Team Tennis (10′s-18′). Our in-house, Rookie Team Tennis program is extremely popular for 8-12 year olds that are athletic, and enjoy tennis, but aren’t quite experienced enough for more serious competition. We also have a terrific QuickStart junior tennis & fitness program, for kids between the ages of 4 & 9.
We offer a Sunday Night In-House Mixed Doubles league (5-7pm) during the summer months, which is complimentary (weekly sign-up) and very popular, usually filling to a capacity of 14 teams. This year, we’ve added a new Saturday afternoon (1:30-3pm) In-House Men’s Team League, for players of levels 3.0-5.0, and that includes the pros and staff at CCC. This is a four-team league, which includes a 6-match regular season AND playoffs!
Our big events of the season include BEAT THE PRO on July 4th, a RALLY FOR THE CURE in July, TENNIS WITH THE STARS August 23rd, and our Ladies Member-Guest tournament is in early September, shortly after Labor Day Weekend.
